E a resposta veio bem rápido!!!

--->xavi
xavi-> webserver set 8080

E pronto, segundo a Xavi, deverá resolver o problema. :)

Dear sir,

I am writing this email to ask for support regarding this ADSL WIFI router : 7868r+

I bought this equipment last month (june/2006) in Europe (Portugal). So far, it is working very well, specially after the firmware update provided by my ISP, in this address : http://acesso.clix.pt/http-uploadF4.tar , and now my firmware version is : 1.20CXF4.7868A+

However, the configuration site (192.168.1.1) is very poor in the presented options. In fact, there is an option to automatically insert a no-ip.com DNS configuration, allowing the automatic Name resolution, but there is a conflict with the configuration site.

The thing is that I need to configure a web site in a computer inside my network in tcp port 80, so that when a person inserts my domain name, it will encounter my web site, and not the Xavi configuration site.

My ISP technical services say that it’s impossible to change the Xavi configuration port from 80 to 8080, allowing me to redirect port 80 to my computer serving as internet server. They suggested me to buy a different brand of router.

I can’t believe that a company like Xavi doesn’t have a solution for this problem. In fact, all the internet forums and blogs are stating that this model is the worse choice in the Portuguese market.

Can you please present a solution for this problem, allowing me to configure my Xavi configuration site to a different port?

I’m looking forward of hearing from you.

Best Regards,

tecnobugiganga
